چکیده
However, recent studies have suggested a paradoxical relationship between obesity and clinical outcomes in certain subsets of patients. Data from percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) registries suggest that the very lean and the very obese have an increased risk of in-hospital complications and short-term mortality.6 1. Introdution: Ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR) remains one of the most complex and unresolved aspects of ischemic heart disease that the impact of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on improvement of intensity of ischemic mitral regurgitation is not well clarified. Patients with coronary artery diseases and ischemic mitral regurgitation have a worse prognosis than the patients with coro...
متن کاملEffect of Exercise Training on Heart Rate Variability in Patients with Heart Failure After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Background: This study aims to evaluate the effect of exercise training on heart rate variability (HRV) and to determine the correlation between parameters of HRV and the ejection fraction in patients with heart failure after percutaneous coronary intervention.Material and Methods: Fifty patients with left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40% undergone percutaneous coronary intervention were r...

Background: Despite recent improvement in coronary intervention, there are many controversies about it’s results in diabetic patients. The goal of this study is comparison of in hospital outcome of diabetics after coronary intervention with nondiabetics. Methods: In this study 115 diabetic and 115non diabetic patients who admitted for coronary intervention in our center during 1383;84 were en...
متن کاملThe Relation of Serum Bilirubin Level with the Severity and Complexity of Coronary Artery Disease and Long-term Outcomes in the Patients Undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Background and Aims: Bilirubin has been considered an antioxidant that protects against atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship of serum bilirubin level with the severity and complexity of coronary artery disease (CAD) and long-term outcome in the patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Materials and Methods: This prospective coho...
متن کاملComparison of in-Hospital Outcome after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Between Patients with Anterior Myocardial Infarction and Those With or Without Ramus Intermedius
Introduction: Primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) is used for the treatment of ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Anterior STEMI is associated with adverse outcomes, and it is possible that the presence of ramus intermedius (RI) would inversely affect the outcome. This research involved the evaluation of the influence of RI presence on clinical ou...
